Do you miss seeing your provider face to face? With the COVID pandemic NovaSpine has adapted Telehealth appointments in an attempt to keep patients safe in their homes during this time. We strongly believe that during this time our patients are much safer at home and medication refills and injection follow up appointments can be easily done in this manner. We also are trying to limit the amount of people in the office since we are continuing to do injections.
That said, are you missing the face to face appointments? I can tell you if you are, it is likely your provider is too. They did not go into medicine to talk to a computer screen or an iPad. They truly enjoy that provider patient connection. While some of that can still be accomplished through technology there is something to be said for good old fashioned face to face. We definitely miss seeing you as well.
I often get asked how long these Telehealth visits will last. If only I knew. As long as COVID presents as a threat in the community we will continue to do the Telehealth appointments. Since this is all new to us as well we are going by the recommendations set by the state and government officials and can assure you that patient safety is our number one concern.
We are definitely looking forward to the day we can see you in the office again. Until that day we will enjoy seeing you via technology. I will say it has been fun seeing your pets!!
